“Internationality, contemporaneity, creativity – declared the Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities, Alberto Bonisoli – are the words that will characterize the project of the Padiglione Italia at the Biennale di Venezia, through the contribution of these three protagonists of art, who will start off an original and innovative exhibition under the expert guidance of a curator equal in age”.

“The aims of support, promotion, development of Italian art of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Art and Architecture and Urban Peripheries that I manage – stated the Commissioner of the Padiglione Italia, Federica Galloni – are completely represented by the artists chosen for the next italian participation in Venice, who will know how to communicate intensity and quality of the research to the international audience”.

“Over two generations, the works and the biographies of Enrico David, Chiara Fumai and Liliana Moro, even though they are very different – explained the curator of the Padiglione Italia, Milovan Farronato – mark important artistic contemporary paths that emerge thanks to the spirit of research between past and present. Their works are excellent for the inextinguishable wish to investigate areas where the survival, the tradition and the narration have a powerful presence. Over the years I worked in close contact with these artists, during collective and solo exhibitions In Italy and abroad, and I am happy that I can support their activities in this exhibition on a large scale, that will include new works and also past works”.
