BIENNALE 2016: Social Architecture Workshop

In occasion of the 15th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale a series of workshops were planned to further investigate the theme proposed by TAMassociati for the 2016 Italy Pavilion: “TAKING CARE – Designing for the Common Good”.
Designing for the common good: an imperative now considered urgent around the globe, as demonstrated in the proposals presented at the Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism \Architecture (2015 UABB) in Shenzhen, China.
The project – born from the collaboration between the DGAAP and the Universities of Reggio Calabria, Catania/Siracusa, Alghero, Rome, Milan/Mantua and Padua, consists of 3 educational workshops on the theme of social architecture in the peripheral area of the Parco tecnologico di Vega in Marghera.
