"The call of Italian Council is celebrating its first year. Many international foreign partners and participants have joined Italian Council, such as the Kunsthalle Basel, the Italian Cultural Institute of Bruxelles and the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, in addition to several Italian institutions like the Castle of Rivoli, the foundation Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, and the foundation Donnaregina per le Arti Contemporanee and Viafarini.

For the first call, launched between spring and summer 2017, Alterazioni Video, Danilo Correale, Nicolò Degiorgis, Eva Frapiccini, Alice Gosti, Margherita Moscardini and Patrick Tuttofuoco got the prize.
