The DGAAP supports the first civic crowdfunding project dedicated to actions in Italy’s peripheries. This initiative is a direct result of the proposal presented in the Padiglione Italia at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale, “Taking Care-Designing for the Common Good” (curated by the team TAMassociati).
For the first time, 5 associations with deep roots in the Italian territory – AIB The Italian Library Association, EMERGENCY NGO NPO, LEGAMBIENTE NPO, LIBERA. Associazioni, nomi e numeri contro le mafie with ALTERECO and UISP Unione Italiana Sport Per tutti – have come together with determination to reach a common goal: 5 mobile intervention units in peripheral areas.
To ensure that their actions and devices are both concrete and effective, they have become the key drivers of a civic crowdfunding campaign: a vast social fund raising project.
The project is supported by a dedicated platform provided by the Banca Popolare Etica: periferieinazione.it
