The DGAAP promotes the creation of web platforms - realizing directly by it or collaborating with other institutions - that collect censuses and mappings of the various forms of contemporary art and architecture, as well as urban spaces. The aim is to enhance the contemporary by returning a series of cognitive tools for the public of professionals and users.
ATLAS OF CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE
The Atlas of Contemporary Architecture is a cultural project promoted by the DGAAP and aimed at promoting and enhancing the contents of the website ‘Architetture del Secondo 900’, concerning the National Survey of Italian Architecture from the late twentieth century.
The website is a story through images of over 100 Italian architectures from the post-World War II to current times.
The survey is a map of the contemporary Italian architecture that adopts a unified filing methodology. It allows to identify the architectures of interest throughout the national territory by an interactive web platform.
