The Premio Barcellona 2019 has been awarded to Silvia Lacatena (Napoli, 1987) and Magdalena Voegele (Lagundo, BZ, 1988). The two designers will be offered the opportunity to spend 6 months in Barcelona. During this time they will be offered the chance to work with an architecture and design office specialised in sustainable and low impact design and collaborate with the Italian Institute of Culture in Barcelona and the ELISAVA Institute.

The winners were selected by a Jury comprised of the art historian Matteo Piccioni (MiBAC-DGAAP), the designer Luca Brucculeri (MAECI-DGSP and IIC Barcelona) and the architect Albert Fuster i Martí, academic director of ELISAVA.
