2nd EDITION OF THE PREMIO MOSCA - THE WINNERS

The winners of the 2nd edition of the Premio Mosca are Vasco Forconi (Rome, 1991) and Alessandra Franetovich (Sarzana, 1985). Both will have the opportunity to expand their curatorial skills through contacts with the cultural and artistic scene in the Russian capital from late January to late July 2020.
The two winners will be offered the chance to participate in the organisation of planning activities at the V-A-C Foundation, supporting curatorial staff at this contemporary art institution, currently the focus of international attention for the expansion of its spaces by the architect Renzo Piano.
The selection committee was composed of: Francesco Manacorda (V-A-C Foundation), Alida Moltedo (Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity and Urban Regeneration - MiBACT) and Luigina Peddi (Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow – MAECI).

The Premio Mosca is open to Italian curators with a good knowledge of English and, as a preferred choice, also of Russian, involved in curatorial activities for at least three years.
