The project was created to select quality scientific studies able to orient local policies of territorial management toward a more informed and sustainable use of public spaces and existing buildings. The aim is to increase safety, accessibility and energy efficiency and limit the consumption of land. There is a particular focus on providing peripheral areas, though not only, with services, infrastructures, landscaped areas and meeting spaces able to stimulate the values of identity and the sense of belonging to a community.
The deadline for the presentation of expressions of interest is at 12:00 noon CET on the 10 August 2017.
