Italian Council is the MiBAC DGAAP program to support Italian contemporary art at international level. Applications for the presentation of projects – that promote Italian artists, curators, critics through production and acquisition of works, exhibitions and foreign residencies, international publishing projects – can be submitted by September 30th.
Niccolò De Napoli and Violette Maillard are the Italian artists who won the prize for contemporary art residencies in China, promoted by DGAAP in collaboration with MAECI-DGSP, IGAV, the IIC of Beijing and NAMOC.
With a total budget of 1.9 million Euro, the DGAAP’s project for the international promotion of Italian contemporary launches a new edition of the call.
